EXplendid! rents out flexible exhibition stands and is the controller for the data that reaches us through this site.

If you have a question about your data or about this statement, send it to the same address.

There are no cookies on this site. We do not measure visits, we use no analytics package, and the pages carry no advertising or tracking script.

The typefaces are served from our own server. Opening a page therefore sends no request to a font service or any other outside address.

That is why this site never asks you for consent. There is nothing to allow or refuse.

The form on the contact page sends nothing to us. It puts what you fill in into an email and opens your own mail program with it.

What you typed therefore stays with you until you press send yourself. If you do not, we receive nothing and store nothing.

The email is addressed to info@explendid.nl.

Once you send the email we receive what you filled in: your name, your email address, and if you entered them your company name and phone number, along with your message.

We use that to answer your question and to prepare a quote or an appointment. The basis is the performance of a contract or the steps leading up to one. For a general question it is our legitimate interest in replying to someone who gets in touch.

We keep correspondence about an enquiry for as long as the contact runs and for two years after that, so we can find an earlier enquiry. If it becomes an assignment, the records fall under the statutory seven year retention period.

The site runs on Vercel. Like any web server it records technical data for every visit: your IP address, the page you request, the time, and which browser and device you use.

That data is needed to serve the site and to spot faults and abuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in a working and secure site. Vercel processes it on our behalf under a data processing agreement and keeps it briefly.

Apart from our host we pass nothing on. We do not sell data and we do not use your address for newsletters or advertising.

If we work on your enquiry together with LEF marketing & events or SdK events, we share only what that enquiry requires.

At the foot of the page there are links to Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, to LEF marketing & events and SdK events, and to the studio that built this site. Follow such a link and from that moment the terms and privacy policy of that party apply.

We have no say in what they record and are not responsible for it. Our own pages carry no buttons, timelines or other components from social networks, so as long as you do not click, those parties do not know you are here.

You have the right to know what data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Send a request to sdekoning@explendid.nl and we will reply within a month.

The site is only reachable over a secure connection, which you can recognise by https in the address bar.

Email is not a secure channel in itself. Please do not send us a copy of an identity document or any other sensitive data by email.

If something changes about the site or about the way we handle data, we will update this statement. The date at the top says when that last happened.
